Z-Edge Tattoo & Body Piercing provides professional piercing services for minors in a safe, controlled, and experience-driven environment. Serving Venice, Sarasota, Bradenton, North Port, and surrounding areas, we offer more than standard ear piercing with a full range of services for minors.

Yes — we pierce minors, including more than just ears.

We provide piercings for infants (6 months and older) through teens, including ear, facial, and body piercings, performed with strict attention to safety, proper consent, and professional standards.

Kids Ear Piercing (6 Months & Older)

We offer children’s first ear piercing beginning at 6 months of age,
performed in a clean and supportive setting.

Piercing for minors

Z-Edge offers a wide range of minor piercings, including:

All services are performed by experienced professionals using sterile,
single-use equipment. We use only ASTM F-136 implant-grade titanium or solid 14k gold. Our jewelry is completely nickel-free.

For minors, placements are limited to areas not covered by undergarments or a two-piece bathing suit.

Dermals

Dermals are not performed on minors unless they are already heavily modified, and only at piercer discretion.

Consent & Identification Requirements

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • A completed notarized consent form (required for all minors)
    • Consent must be completed by a parent or legal guardian only
    • Names must match across all documentation

  • AGES 16-17 (WITHOUT PARENT PRESENT)

    • Minor must provide valid government-issued ID (required for all minors)
    • Must bring a copy of parent/legal guardian ID
    • Notarized consent form must match parent/legal guardian

  • UNDER 16 OR 16-17 WITH PARENT PRESENT

    • Parent/legal guardian must be present
    • Parent/legal guardian must provide valid ID
    • Minor ID is not required

  • IMPORTANT

    • Forms must be notarized before arrival
    • We do not notarized on site
    • Digital notarized forms are not accepted
    • A printed notarized form is required

Walk-ins are welcome at all locations.

Children under the age of 10 must be seen by appointment only.

Please review all requirements prior to arrival.

If documentation is missing, incomplete, or does not match, we will not be able to perform the piercing.
